Fourth of 5 finishers in his sole Irish point. Minor promise in bumpers to end 2021 but needs to raise his game now hurdling.

Bred more for stamina than speed and looked badly in need of the experience in a Kelso bumper on debut in May. Solid start over hurdles but this may not tap into his stamina back in trip.

Half-brother to yard's useful hurdler/chaser Elvis Mail. Runner-up in an ordinary bumper in October and made a promising first fist of hurdling when fifth at Ayr. Well related and sure to improve.

Bumper winner last March. Struggled in various company after but much more like it when second despite going off huge odds in a novice at Newcastle 16 days ago.

Modest form in bumpers (left Gavin Cromwell prior to reappearance) but very low-key start over hurdles.

Fairly useful on Flat in France and stepped forward from his hurdling debut when third in a juvenile at Musselburgh in November. Fitted with headgear and let down by jumping switched to a handicap.

Forecasts

Bella Bluesky (9/4), Ginger Mail (5/2), Domandlouis (3/1), Ultra Violet (13/2), Ring Pretender (8/1), Augharue (12/1), Fethard Glory (80/1)

Verdict

GINGER MAIL has a fair way to go to match his useful siblings but last month's hurdles debut at Ayr was promising and this isn't a strong novice, so he looks the way to go. Bella Bluesky is a big threat on her Newcastle run while Domandlouis enters the reckoning if this becomes a test of stamina.

  1. GINGER MAIL (FR)
  2. BELLA BLUESKY
  3. DOMANDLOUIS (IRE)
