Emmas Joy⁵¹

Age: 9| Weight: 11-8| J: Bridget Andrews| T: D Skelton| OR: 125

7/2

Point/Grade 2 hurdles winner who has shown an aptitude for this game in mares' listed events since returning from a 20-month absence. Mark for this handicap debut is appealing and she merits respect.

Precious Eleanor³⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-2| J: T J O'Brien| T: H D Daly| OR: 119| BF

11/4

Fair hurdler who has taken well to fences, again finding just one too good at Wincanton last time. Another bold showing is on the cards.

Form: 1F-2222

Burrows Diamond²¹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-1| J: Henry Brooke| T: J Parkinson & S Smith| OR: 118

6/1

Career best when winning 4-runner handicap chase at Newcastle 3 weeks ago, value for more having been eased down. That form has been boosted by the runner-up since, so should go well again.

Form: 1-26F41

Found On²⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 11-1| J: S Bowen| T: M Keighley| OR: 118

10/3

Dual winner over hurdles who showed some aptitude for chasing when mid-field in a 13-runner handicap at Southwell 26 days ago. Needs to build on that.

Form: 15-2196

Coded Message^p³³

Age: 9| Weight: 10-12| J: Mr Charlie Case⁽⁷⁾| T: B I Case| OR: 115| BF

9/1

Fairly useful hurdler/chaser who has posted a couple of respectable efforts over hurdles lately. Potentially well treated on old form, so dangerous if she gets into a rhythm at the head of affairs.

Form: 4535-43

Graces Order^t²⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 10-8| J: Fergus Gregory| T: O Murphy| OR: 111

6/1

Just fair form over hurdles but, following a breathing operation, she immediately upped her game when runner-up at this course on chasing debut a month ago. More to come, so looks an obvious player.

Form: 1/3430-2

Forecasts

Precious Eleanor (11/4), Found On (10/3), Emmas Joy (7/2), Burrows Diamond (6/1), Graces Order (6/1), Coded Message (9/1)

BURROWS DIAMOND came comfortably clear of a subsequent winner at Newcastle last time and, for all this is a bit more competitive, she's worth a chance to follow up. All the others have a chance, but Graces Order and Emmas Joy strike as the main dangers to the selection.
