Tinnahalla^t⁵⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 12-1| J: Lewis Stones⁽⁷⁾| T: O Murphy| OR: 121| DWS

6/1

Landed juvenile/novice hurdles last season. Started this campaign in disappointing fashion but back on track when second to Made For You over C&D in November. Subsequently had wind op. Big player.

Form: 141-702

Made For You^t³⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: Daire Davis⁽¹⁰⁾| T: O Murphy| OR: 118| CD

12/1

Back to form when beating reopposing stablemate Tinnahalla to win over C&D in November. Even better form when runner-up at Market Rasen over Christmas. Should give another good account.

Form: 11-P512

Lignou³⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 11-11| J: Sean Quinlan| T: J Candlish| OR: 117

25/1

Fairly useful ex-Irish winner but has yet to hit form for current yard. Has dropped 15 lb in 3 starts but it's still not enough to tempt.

Form: 1-09878

Mr Grey Sky⁴⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 11-7| J: David Bass| T: K Bailey & M Nicholls| OR: 113| D

7/2

Won both bumpers in December 2018. Very lightly raced and below expectations over hurdles since, although he may have needed run on 19.5f Lingfield handicap debut back from a further year off.

Form: 113/33-5

First Angel^h³⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Adam Wedge| T: L Morgan| OR: 110

4/1

Made the frame both starts in bumpers and placed in maiden/novice hurdles before Christmas. Not quite in same form when third on Market Rasen chase/handicap debut but may fare better back hurdling.

Form: 4-26323

Happy And Fine²⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-3| J: Harry Bannister| T: A M Hales| OR: 109

3/1

Fair form, running up to his best when third in 19f Catterick handicap 4 weeks ago, although he did rather go in snatches.

Form: P-3373

Applesandpierres^v⁴⁶

Age: 14| Weight: 10-10| J: C Gethings| T: Mrs S Leech| OR: 102| CD

12/1

Won in France in 2020 but showing little nowadays, finishing a remote fourth back on these shores at Bangor last month.

Form: 00-PFP4

Quiana³³⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 10-10| J: J E Moore| T: G & J Moore| OR: 102| BF

18/1

French Flat winner. Some promise over hurdles for this yard but absent since finishing well held on his handicap debut last Ferbaury. Still early days but would need to see market support to consider.

Form: 03/426-

Krypton Gold²¹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-6| J: Charlie Hammond| T: S Edmunds| OR: 111

9/1

Modest maiden on Flat. Similar standard in juvenile hurdles, although it's early days and it wouldn't be a shock if this half-brother to very smart hurdler Aspire Tower fared better in handicaps

Form: 244

Forecasts

Happy And Fine (3/1), Mr Grey Sky (7/2), First Angel (4/1), Tinnahalla (6/1), Krypton Gold (9/1), Made For You (12/1), Applesandpierres (12/1), Quiana (18/1), Lignou (25/1)

A 4 lb swing in the weights might be enough for TINNAHALLA to turn around November's C&D form with stablemate Made For You, particularly if a wind operation since then has had any sort of positive effect. First Angel may fare best of the rest.
