Yeats mare who was down the field in a bumper at Newcastle a year ago, so hard to make a case for.
£20,000 3-y-o, Kalanisi mare. Half-sister to 8 winners, including useful hurdler Aklan, stayed 2½m, and fairly useful hurdler/chaser Akarshan, stayed 21f. Dam 1½m winner. Big player on debut.
Won sole start in Irish points and showed plenty to work on when third at Uttoxeter 15 days ago. Tongue tied now applied, and there may well be more to come.
Just poor form to date, looking more one for further down the line, so hard to envisage her featuring in this.
Promising second at Hexham in October but both subsequent efforts have been pretty tame, so arrives with something to prove.
€3,500 3-y-o, Califet mare. Half-sister to fair hurdler/fairly useful chaser Way Out West, stayed 21f, and bumper winner/modest hurdler Paper Promise. Probably one for further down the line.
£30,000 4-y-o, Shirocco mare. Half-sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser Ben Dundee, stays 3m, and fair chaser Prince Dundee, stays 4m. Placed both starts in Irish points, runner-up latest (Nov 21).
£20,000 3-y-o, Black Sam Bellamy mare. Half-sister to useful hurdler/top-class chaser Harry Topper. Dam (c113/h102) 21f-3¼m hurdle/chase winner. Wears hood. Likely to need time.
Bred to need time and distance but showed ability amidst greenness when mid-field at Newcastle a month ago. Should improve for that experience, so not a forlorn hope.
Mukhadram filly. Half-sister to bumper winner Montenay. Dam, 1¼m winner, half-sister to fairly useful chaser (3m-25f winner) Graduation Night.

Forecasts
Roc Of Dundee (11/4), Kalelula (7/2), Belleloise (9/2), Magheroarty Star (6/1), Wellfleet Witch (9/1), Elena De La Vega (14/1), Big Ears (16/1), Martalindy (16/1), Melvich Bay (18/1), Paper Tiger (22/1), Wheres The Crumpet (25/1)
KALELULA is related to no less than 8 winners and represents a stable well capable of readying a newcomer, so she's marginally preferred to ex-pointer Roc of Dundee in what should be an informative bumper. Magheroarty Star is another one to consider following a promising Rules debut at Uttoxeter.
- KALELULA
- ROC OF DUNDEE (IRE)
- MAGHEROARTY STAR (IRE)
