Mixed record but has won 2 of 4 starts over fences, showing improved form after a breathing operation/fitting of headgear when making all over C&D 2 years ago. Not seen since but only 2 lb higher.
Yet to win in this country but put together a string of good placed efforts over fences this season. Seemed to get stuck in the mud at Bangor last time so wouldn't want any more rain.
Excellent record here (all 5 career wins at this venue), all out when scoring over C&D last month. Lacklustre effort at Southwell 11 days ago but can be expected to bounce back returned to this track.
Winning pointer who left chase debut effort in his wake (albeit with a slice of luck) fitted with headgear when running out a 5-length winner at Ludlow. Backed that up when third there since. Player.
On a lengthy losing run but has plenty of chase experience in Ireland. Similar form all 3 starts for current yard and step up in trip could suit judged on latest second at Warwick.
Dual hurdles winner last term and hasn't been disgraced in 3 starts this season. Could feature if taking to fences at the first attempt. Cheekpieces on for 1st time.
Temperamental sort who returned to form from out of the blue when second of 7 in handicap chase at Lingfield (23.5f, heavy, 18/1) 25 days ago. Not sure to be in the same mood here.
No solid form. 5 lb out of handicap.
Little solid form. 7 lb out of handicap.

Forecasts
Freddy Fanatapan (10/3), Lord Sparky (9/2), Zuckerberg (11/2), Mistertommyshelby (6/1), Allardyce (6/1), Loud As Lions (17/2), Invincible Cave (10/1), Peter's Portrait (11/1), Cap'n (50/1), Overtougeorge (80/1)
LOUD AS LIONS has been off for almost 2 years, but he showed big improvement on the back of a wind operation when making all over C&D when last seen and has since had another breathing operation. He could be worth chancing off a similar mark in a race lacking depth. Course-specialist Lord Sparky and the lightly-raced Peter's Portrait are feared most.

- LORD SPARKY
- PETER'S PORTRAIT (IRE)
