Forecasts

Cephalus (1/1), Devasboy (3/1), Novak (11/2), Sparka (7/1), Maggie's Joy (18/1)

Verdict

CEPHALUS had plenty left in the tank when landing a Southwell nursery upped to this trip last week and, effectively 1 lb ahead of the handicapper under a penalty here, this upwardly-mobile colt is taken to complete the hat-trick. Sparka went agonisingly close here when last seen in November and merits respect, but Devasboy is probably on a fair mark and he is feared most.

  2. DEVASBOY
  3. SPARKA (IRE)
