Bumper/hurdle winner who has failed to complete on each of his last 3 starts, too free when pulled up on back of a wind op over hurdles last month. Market may guide back over fences. Hooded.
Made a winning return over C&D last autumn prior to hitting frame on 3 of next 5 starts. Never figured returning from 9 months at Fontwell in December but bounce back not ruled out from reduced mark.
Bumper/dual hurdles winner who proved easy to back and ultimately offered little when sixth of 8 on return from 30 months off here in December. Tongue tie discarded now but not the easiest to weigh up
Landed back-to-back handicaps fitted with cheekpieces/tongue tie (at up to 21.6f) last winter. Pulled up final start and understandably looked rusty on return from 9 months off here in November.
Course winner (19.4f) from 3 lb higher mark back in June but record somewhat predictably more miss than hit since, pulled up at Market Rasen (19f) in December. Fitting of a visor may sharpen him up.
Fallen plenty in weights and ended long losing run at Warwick (2m) on New Year's Eve, jumping on 4 out and winning easily. Has to merit serious consideration under a penalty.
Losing run mounting up over hurdles but recent exploits have contained some promise, weakening only after a late blunder at Warwick (21f) last month. Mark eased further ahead of chasing bow.
Four-time chase winner who has largely struggled to make an impact, albeit shaping better than previously this term when fourth at Bangor (20.3f) last month. Needs to build on that now.
Off the mark over fences at Newton Abbot (25.7f) in June and back to winning ways under an attacking ride at Bangor (17.3f) last month, closed down only late when idling. Live player once more.
Doubled chase tally at Cartmel in 2019 and first form for a while when runner-up over hurdles at Sedgefield in March. Let down by jumping later that month and has since left Dianne Sayer.
Still without a win but hit the frame on 5 of his 6 starts last term and likely he will strip fitter for last month's Ludlow return/on back of a wind op. Not out of things for each-way purposes.
Irresolute veteran who boasts a very poor strike rate and doesn't make any appeal.
Limited mare who looks firmly up against it from out of the weights.

TEMPLIER put it all together to end a long losing run at Warwick on New Year's Eve and, wisely turned out under a penalty, he's fancied to make a bold bid to follow up. Fellow last-time-out scorer Kingston King rates the chief threat, ahead of Cobra Commander in a race where most have something to prove.
