Christopher Wood^p,t⁴²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-4| J: Angus Cheleda⁽⁵⁾| T: P F Nicholls| OR: 142| CD

3/1

Smart hurdler who arrives in decent nick on the back of a wind op, sixth to Tommy's Oscar in 19f Haydock handicap 42 days ago. Not discounted off 3 lb lower mark.

Form: 182-346

Anna Bunina^t²⁵⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 10-13| J: Simon Torrens⁽³⁾| T: J C McConnell| OR: 137| D

10/1

Successful twice in Ireland last summer and she signed off with excellent handicap efforts in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham and at Ayr. In the mix on her return.

Form: 247582-

Fiveandtwenty⁶³

7/1

Fairly useful on the Flat and also a three-time 2m winner in this sphere last term. Faced a tough task on her return in Wetherby listed contest, so she's no forlorn hope after a wind op.

Form: 11137-7

First Impression²⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 10-3| J: Henry Brooke| T: J & S Quinn| OR: 127| BF| D

11/2

Readily landed 2m handicap hurdle at Wetherby in November but she unseated at the fourth flight at Musselburgh last time. Well worth another chance.

Form: 2515-1U

Mick Maestro⁴⁸

Age: 9| Weight: 10-3| J: K Brogan⁽³⁾| T: N Kent| OR: 127| D

6/1

Dual 2m hurdle winner but he came in well held after 6 months off in Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham on his reappearance. Needs to bounce back.

Form: 3P59-40

Blakeney Point^b,t²⁷

Age: 9| Weight: 10-0| J: Callum Bewley| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 124| CD

40/1

Landed this contest 12 months ago but he ran one of his lesser races when fifth of 7 in 2m handicap at Huntingdon 27 days ago. Others are more persuasive.

Form: 613335

Forecasts

Tommy's Oscar (2/1), Christopher Wood (3/1), First Impression (11/2), Mick Maestro (6/1), Fiveandtwenty (7/1), Anna Bunina (10/1), Blakeney Point (40/1)

TOMMY'S OSCAR continues to go from strength-to-strength for Ann Hamilton and is fancied to defy top weight and rattle off his hat-trick at the chief expense of First Impression, who is taken to bounce back after his early departure at Musselburgh. Fiveandtwenty has her sights lowered and can have a say too along with the returning Irish raider Anna Bunina in a useful handicap.
