Useful chaser who filled runner-up spot on 3 of his last 4 starts last term. Not himself at Ayr final start but looked back at the top of his game prior to coming down 2 out over C&D on return.
11-y-o who ran a cracker from his lower hurdles mark when neck second in 9-runner handicap here (2m) 22 days ago, sticking to task. That augurs well for this return to chasing, so he's respected.
Useful winning hurdler/chaser for Nicky Henderson in 2018/19. Off 25 months before pulling up in Grade 3 handicap chase at Aintree in April and the assessor has cut him some slack since.
Took well to chasing following a breathing operation last term and has shown he retains all his ability both starts back this season, but this return to much shorter isn't sure to be in his favour.
All the better for chase debut when scoring at Market Rasen in late 2019. First run since when pulled up at Kelso in November and this ought to reveal more.
Left Henry de Bromhead cheaply (sold for just £3,000) but showed he's still capable of fairly useful from when third to Palmers Hill in a handicap chase over C&D 43 days ago. Respected off same mark.
Won this corresponding event 12 months ago in a race that rather fell apart but still won by 11 lengths and should be spot on following a pipe-opener over hurdles at Bangor recently. Considered.
Resumed winning ways at Newcastle (20f) in the spring and similar form when second at Cartmel (21f) in May. Good efforts both starts back this season and should remain competitive back down in trip.

Forecasts
Schiehallion Munro (3/1), Twotwothree (3/1), The Ferry Master (5/1), Cracking Find (11/2), Drumconnor Lad (15/2), Mr Whipped (12/1), Game Of War (12/1), Buster Valentine (16/1)
SCHIEHALLION MUNRO looked sure to have been heavily involved in the finish when falling 2 out over C&D on his return last month, so he's worth giving another chance to off the same mark, especially as the winner of that race has followed up since. Drumconnor Lad and last year's winner Twotwothree head the opposition.
- SCHIEHALLION MUNRO
