150/1

It's now twenty two runs since his last win in 2018. Last of 5 in 2m handicap chase at Southwell 22 days ago and also 18 lb out of the handicap, so he's easily opposed.

Form: 24F3P5

Family Pot^t¹⁶

40/1

Course winner in November who backed it up with good third of 12 in handicap chase over C&D 16 days ago. 41 lb "wrong" in the weights here, however, so he faces a very stiff task.

Forecasts

Minella Trump (5/6), Scene Not Herd (1/1), Family Pot (40/1), Silver Star (150/1)

Four runners, but essentially a match and SCENE NOT HERD is fancied to make it 3-3 in this sphere and end Minella Trump's superb winning run. Donald McCain's thriving 7-y-o has a career-high mark to overcome but should still ensure Charlie Longsdon's exciting prospect does not have things all his own way.
