€10,000 3-y-o, Shirocco gelding. Dam closely related to top-class hurdler/very smart chaser Oscar Whisky. Clearly signs of ability in 2 bumpers and longer trip should suit now hurdling.

Fair Flat winner, including on AW in July, but has shown just modest form in 2 hurdle starts so far and has his stamina to prove now moving up in trip.

Little impact in a trio of points and went with little encouragement when pulled up on recent Rules debut at Warwick.

£45,000 Irish point winner who showed more than on hurdling debut under a positive ride when fourth in a 19.5f maiden at Lingfield last month. May do better still and must enter calculations.

€13,000 foal, Fame And Glory gelding. Won 6-runner course bumper in clear-cut fashion on debut in May so has to be of interest now going hurdling in an ordinary-looking affair.

Won second of 2 starts in Irish points (Dec 2020) and should strip fitter for recent Rules debut at Lingfield, but needs to leave that effort well behind.

Forecasts

Wells Glory (8/11), Minella Buster (3/1), Barest Of Margins (7/2), Keep It Brief (17/2), The Real Jet (40/1), What's My Line (50/1), Style Council (150/1), Message Man (200/1)

Verdict

WELLS GLORY won a course bumper in clear-cut fashion on his debut in May so looks the one to beat now switched to hurdles in an ordinary-looking affair. Minella Buster stepped up on his debut effort in this sphere when fourth at Lingfield last month and is considered the main threat ahead of Barest of Margins.

  1. WELLS GLORY (IRE)
  2. MINELLA BUSTER (IRE)
  3. BAREST OF MARGINS (IRE)
