Useful novice who won twice last term. Shaped better than on his reappearance when fourth in a first-time tongue strap at Haydock (18.9f) last month and claims back down in trip off 3 lb lower here.
Ex-French bumper winner who notched third hurdles success at Sandown on return last month. Not disgraced in a listed handicap back there next time and needs considering down 2 lb in this lesser race.
Smart in this sphere a couple of seasons back and went close off this mark in 16.8f Ascot handicap chase in October. Not so good over the same C&D since, but couldn't rule out returned to hurdles.
Consistent and genuine mare who had Hudson de Grugy, Elham Valley and Heure de Gloire behind when fifth of 11 in 2m listed handicap at Sandown recently. Eased 2 lb and a bold show is on the cards.
Improved model for new stable, winning maiden/novice events at around 2m earlier this year. However, he has come up woefully short switched to handicaps the last twice and others make greater appeal.
Beat Hudson de Grugy in a Sandown juvenile event last term, and fine third in Fred Winter at Cheltenham in March. Below par both starts this term, but mark is on the slide and has conditions to suit.
Successful in mares' hurdle on sole start in France, and runner-up in a Huntingdon juvenile (15.8f) for new yard in March. However, she was well behind a few of these at Sandown on return.

Forecasts
Calico (11/4), Miss Heritage (10/3), Hudson De Grugy (7/2), Monsieur Lecoq (4/1), Wicked West (9/1), Elham Valley (10/1), Heure De Gloire (50/1)
It's worth giving another chance to ELHAM VALLEY, who was behind Miss Heritage and Hudson de Grugy at Sandown last time, but he looked good when outpointing the latter on heavy ground at that course last season and is now 4 lb below the mark off which he finished third at the Cheltenham Festival in March. The likeable Miss Heritage won't go down without a fight and she is feared most.
- ELHAM VALLEY (FR)
- MISS HERITAGE (IRE)
- HUDSON DE GRUGY (FR)
