Fairly useful hurdler/chaser who jumped well when finding only an improver too good over fences at Chepstow on return. A performance of similar merit would put him right in the mix.

Very much back in form for his new trainer with wins at Fontwell and Huntingdon. Bumped into one (clear of the others) in his hat-trick bid at Newcastle last time, but he's still ahead of his mark.

Scored over C&D in January and backed it up with a good second to a progressive sort. Below form since, but may well strip fitter for his reappearance, so he's respected in a first-time visor.

Fairly useful chaser was below his best towards the end of last season and returned with quite a disappointing effort in the Grand Sefton (usually goes well over those fences) at Aintree on return.

Veteran who capitalised on a tumbling market in convincing fashion at Southwell recently. Remains potentially well handicapped on old form but hard to know if he'll arrive in the same mood.

Progressive over fences last season, winning twice at up to 3m. Not firing on all cylinders as yet this term, but latest effort was respectable and blinkers might well perk him up.

Admiral Barratry (3/1), Not A Role Model (3/1), Defuture Is Bright (3/1), Luckofthedraw (9/2), The Unit (13/2), Tiquer (9/1), Sir Jack Yeats (12/1)

Verdict

LUCKOFTHEDRAW is thriving and, although unable to hold off a progressive rival at Newcastle last time, he was well on top of the others, so he's fancied to get back to winning ways now under an attacking ride. Not A Role Model is an obvious danger following a pleasing reappearance, while Defuture Is Bright could make his presence felt if the first-time blinkers have the desired effect.
