1/1

Useful hurdler who has looked a good chase prospect, albeit fortunate to follow up his Ascot handicap win in Newbury Grade 2 (3 lengths down when left clear 2 out). Will improve further.

For Pleasure²⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Harry Bannister| T: A M Hales| OR: 137| D

5/2

Scored 4 times over hurdles last term, including in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham, and gave it a good go from the front on first completed start over fences at Warwick last month. Could take some catching.

Form: 1035-F3

Kid Commando⁴⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-2| J: R P McLernon| T: A J Honeyball| OR: 137| C

5/2

Smart hurdler who started off his chasing career on the right foot when beaten 11 lengths by Nassalam at Ascot, going freely in front but no extra from 3 out. Should improve but has work to do here.

Form: 16P5F-3

Forecasts

Nassalam (1/1), For Pleasure (5/2), Kid Commando (5/2)

NASSALAM may have been a fortunate Grade 2 winner recently but there is no doubting he's a smart chase prospect and he's fancied to defy a penalty back in trip and make it 3 victories for the campaign.
