Useful hurdler who landed the Lanzarote at Kempton nearly 2 years ago. Showed aptitude for chasing (should improve) on sole start over fences prior to that but has a lengthy absence to overcome.

Maiden hurdle winner who took well to fences last term, clear of the rest when runner-up to the very smart Chantry House in February. Considerate return last month and there should be better to come.

Forecasts

Kiltealy Briggs (6/4), Coconut Splash (6/4), Mint Condition (11/2), Burrows Edge (15/2)

Verdict

Tough to rule any of these out. However, COCONUT SPLASH gets the verdict having been given a considerate reappearance when third at Exeter 3 weeks ago. Evan Williams' charge has shaped as if there's better to come on all his starts over fences now and this looks a good opening. Kiltealy Briggs gets the vote for second, ahead of the returning Burrows Edge.
