7/4
Unreliable type who got off the mark at the 11th attempt returning to handicap company when making all at Market Rasen 10 days ago. In fine heart at present and could be up to defying 6 lb rise.

Improved form when going down only to an improver on reappearance at Uttoxeter last month. Unable to match that effort a month later but impossible to write off for in-form stable.

Maiden pointer who hinted at ability in a novice/maiden hurdles earlier this year. Market best guide as to what's expected on handicap debut/reappearance.

Out of sorts in Ireland this seasonand similar story on yard debut at Stratford last month. Tongue tie applied but tough to see him getting involved on recent evidence.

Fair 1m winner on Flat. Best run in this sphere when fourth of 8 in handicap hurdle at Stratford (2m) last month but tailed off without the usual hood at Market Rasen since. Cheekpieces/tongue tie on.

Well held in a bumper and 3 novice hurdles so far. Fell early when 25/1 for chase/handicap at Hereford at the start of the month and showed nothing back over hurdles since. Easily opposed.

Age: 7|  Weight: 10-0| J: Ben Godfrey(5)| T: J R Jenkins| OR:  71
5/1
Poor maiden on Flat and little to shout about over hurdles. However, he seemed to excel himself from 9 lb out of the handicap when third at Huntingdon earlier this month and needs to back that up now.

Yet to better poor form to date and he was tailed off sporting first-time cheekpieces at Hereford earlier this month. Faces another struggle.

Poor maiden hurdler who has offered little in 3 recent starts over timber. Again 4 lb out of the handicap and plenty more is needed.

Forecasts

Presuming Ed (7/4), Lonimoss Bareliere (9/4), Ace Time (5/1), Baliyad (8/1), On The Rise (11/1), Taqwaa (14/1), Bold Red (33/1), Joint Account (40/1), Fast Deal (50/1)

Verdict

Only a handful of these make any serious appeal, with PRESUMING ED getting the nod to follow up from his Market Rasen triumph 10 days ago. He was able to channel his energy better that day and he can double his career tally in a race that may not take much winning. Lonimoss Bareliere is feared most if able to leave a below-par effort at Uttoxeter behind him, ahead of Ace Time.

  1. PRESUMING ED (IRE)
  2. LONIMOSS BARELIERE (FR)
  3. ACE TIME
