Alghazaal⁴⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Paul O'Brien| T: C E Longsdon

10/3

Brother to useful hurdler Nadaitak (21f-3m winner). Fairly useful on Flat, stays 1¾m, good second on sole start for Michael Bell last time. Sold for 37,500 gns. Interesting hurdling debutant.

Form:

For Fitz Sake¹²

Age: 5| Weight: 10-12| J: Harry Reed| T: L Morgan

Successful on sole outing in points, but well held in a bumper/novice hurdle 9 months apart.

Form: FP-3

Baladio⁴⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 10-5| J: Jamie Hamilton| T: J Mackie

50/1

Modest maiden on the Flat who showed some aptitude for hurdling after 4 months off when third in 4-runner novice at Hereford (19.7f) 46 days ago, but wouldn't be an obvious type to improve.

Form: 3

Global Famenglory¹⁸

Showed some promise in bumpers and did likewise sent hurdling after 8 months off when runner-up at Huntingdon (15.8f) 18 days ago. Entitled to progress and in the mix.

Forecasts

Brief Times (2/5), Alghazaal (10/3), Bob's Bar (7/2), Global Famenglory (17/2), Stumps Or Slips (16/1), Waltons Grove (20/1), Baladio (50/1), Alchemystique (50/1), For Fitz Sake (125/1), Muzetta's Waltz (300/1)

BRIEF TIMES added to his impressive bumper win when readily making all on his hurdling debut at Exeter earlier in the month, and with plenty of scope to improve, especially now back on a left-handed course, he's fancied to defy a penalty. Alghazaal looks an interesting recruit to hurdling having shown fairly useful form on the Flat at up to 1¾m, with Bob's Bar and Global Famenglory also feared.
