Ask Paddington^h⁶⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 11-2| J: Thomas Dowson| T: R Menzies| OR: 130

9/2

Useful handicap hurdler for Tristan Davidson, winning twice at around 20f during 2020/21 season. Hard to knock consistency last term and worth noting if strong in betting on chase bow for new yard.

Form: 1-44254

Baron De Midleton¹⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 11-2| J: Henry Brooke| T: B Ellison| OR: 123| BF

4/1

Hurdles winner who went agonisingly close to breaking his duck over fences at Sedgefield (19.8f) 2 weeks ago, headed on line. Strictly has work to do on these terms but should give a good account.

Form: 43F-222

Forecasts

Minella Trump (1/2), Baron De Midleton (4/1), Ask Paddington (9/2)

MINELLA TRUMP continues to go from strength-to-strength, justifying strong market support when completing a remarkable 6-timer over fences at Sandown 12 days ago. He can come out on top again. Chase debutant Ask Paddington can pose the chief threat.
