Nicely-bred individual but low-key start to his career, well held in a couple of bumpers earlier this year. Needs to step up now his attentions are switched to timber. Tongue tied.

Kapgarde gelding who ran out a convincing winner of a 12-runner maiden bumper at Le Mans (15.9f) 12 months ago. Looks very interesting now hurdling for leading yard. High on shortlist.

Unplaced in pair of bumpers in France but he did offer some encouragement when eighth in a Fontwell maiden hurdle (17.7f) on yard debut 12 days ago. Still, likely type for handicaps in due course.

Fame And Glory gelding who showed promise amidst some greenness when third in a Ffos Las bumper (15.8f) in May. Goes hurdling now with yard in good order and he's of interest.

Fourth only start in bumpers but bred for stamina and he only plugged on in to midfield over this trip on hurdles bow at Stratford in October. Possibly a longer-term project.

Well held in a bumper/pair of novice hurdle 6 month apart and low-grade handicaps may be more his bag further down the line.

€40,000 Shantou gelding who has finished in-the-frame all 3 starts in bumpers, pulling clear of remainder when second in a C&D event in March. Type to make his mark over hurdles and one to consider.

Promise on 2 of 3 starts in bumpers and given considerate introduction to hurdles when fifth of 9 in a Market Rasen maiden (16.5f) recently. Another who may do better further down the line.

Readily surpassed sole previous effort when running out a 33/1 winner of a Lingfield bumper (2m) in January. Is bred to stay well and market should guide with yard saddling Party Business.

Well held in bumpers and not beat a rival in pair of maiden/novice hurdles in recent days. Rates a longer-term project.

Runner-up both starts in points and showed benefit of bumper debut when running out a convincing winner of a C&D event in March. Looks a bright prospect for hurdling on return.

Some promise in a couple of bumpers and it was a similar scenario on his recent hurdles debut at Chepstow (19.4f) in October. Looks a likely type to flourish at a later stage in handicaps.

Bred to do better in time but no immediate encouragement in a bumper back in the spring and similarly well held both starts over hurdles last month. Passed over here.

Verdict

HARTUR D'OUDAIRIES ran out a pretty authoritative winner of a maiden bumper on his sole start in France this time last year and he looks of serious interest now starting out over hurdles for his powerful stable. There is strength in opposition though, dangers headed up by Party Business and Let's Have Another. Sidewaysinmilan is another also of interest.

  2. PARTY BUSINESS (IRE)
