In good form last season, including a win at Aintree in December. On a workable mark but he's often needed his first run back.
Disappointed in 3 subsequent starts after winning this race 12 months ago, but he's back to last year's successful mark and his stable is in good form so there are reasons to be positive.
Bagged a Newcastle handicap chase off this mark last December and added to her tally over hurdles at Aintree in June. Contender if primed after 5 months off.
Bumper/useful dual novice hurdler winner. Absent since third in 3m Chepstow maiden chase in November 2019 but his yard is in flying form and it'll be very interesting to see how he goes in betting.
In with a good chance of winning Borders National at Kelso last December when unseating at the last. Didn't build on that in 3 subsequent starts last term but could get back on track after wind op.
Winner of all 4 starts over fences as a novice during 2018/19 campaign. Hasn't added to his tally since but he was runner-up off 4 lb higher last season and should be sharper for a recent hurdle run.
Seven wins from 22 starts, the latest win coming in a 3m chase at Perth in August. Creditable third of 14 at Fairyhouse latest but he is racing off a career-high mark here.
Took his chase record to 2-4 when seeing off 7 rivals over 3m at Bangor on his reappearance 3 weeks ago. Rasied 6 lb but it's possible this low-mileage 6-y-o has more to offer.

Forecasts
Finawn Bawn (9/4), Dragonfruit (5/1), Shanroe Al C (11/2), Glittering Love (6/1), Crixus's Escape (8/1), Duc De Grissay (9/1), She'sasupermack (11/1), Clan Legend (12/1)
Gillian Boanas has been among the winners of late so it might be worth siding with CRIXUS'S ESCAPE to repeat last year's success in this race off an identical mark. Finawn Bawn hasn't been seen for over 2 years but Olly Murphy has his string in very good form so he could pose a big threat, particularly if the market vibes are storng. Bangor-winner Dragonfruit also makes the shortlist.
