Antony²⁶

Age: 11| Weight: 11-12| J: J E Moore| T: G & J Moore| OR: 100

10/3

Came within a whisker of ending a 3½-year barren spell at Fontwell last month, collared on the line. Nudged up just 1 lb and every chance of going one better here for in-form yard.

Form: P2P-762

Jungle Prose²⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-10| J: Tabitha Worsley⁽⁵⁾| T: N J Gifford| OR: 98

5/2

Yet to get her head in front over hurdles but returned to form after 6 months off when runner-up over this C&D 4 weeks ago. Task now is to back that up.

Form: 3264P-2

Top Man²⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 11-7| J: Tom Cannon| T: C Gordon| OR: 95| C

9/4

Course winner back in 2019 who took a step back in the right direction when fifth at Fontwell last month. Mark continues to tumble and he could have a say in proceedings.

Form: 5-69085

Ding Ding^p¹⁹⁰

Age: 10| Weight: 11-6| J: M Goldstein| T: Miss S West| OR: 94| C

10/1

Six-time winner here but not in much form when last seen having continued to fall in the weights. First run for 6 months.

Form: 29033-5

Mr P²⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 10-9| J: T J O'Brien| T: P Henderson| OR: 83

16/1

Poor in bumpers and little impact over hurdles, pulled up on last 3 outings. Easy to look elsewhere.

Form: 909P-PP

Soarlikeaneagle²⁶

Age: 9| Weight: 10-3| J: James Best| T: R Rowe| OR: 77

11/1

Bagged 3m1f handicap at Fontwell back in May and ran creditably after 5 months off there last month, running on late. Each-way claims if building on that effort.

Form: 6291-F3

Comeragh Lad¹³

Age: 7| Weight: 10-3| J: Sean Houlihan⁽³⁾| T: R Chapman| OR: 77

10/1

Maiden point winner who has shown only poor form over hurdles thus far, running no sort of race in first-time cheekpieces after 7 months off at Exeter 13 days ago. Significantly upped in trip.

Form: 87404-P

Iron In The Soul¹⁴

Weight: 10-8| Age: 9

T: Mrs H Cobb J: Non Runner

Forecasts

Top Man (9/4), Jungle Prose (5/2), Antony (10/3), Ding Ding (10/1), Comeragh Lad (10/1), Soarlikeaneagle (11/1), Mr P (16/1), Iron In The Soul (33/1)

The ones at the top of the weights could be worth focusing on, with ANTONY getting the nod. Gary Moore's charge came within a whisker of ending a 3½-year barren spell at Fontwell last month and, with the yard in flying form, he's taken to go a place better here. Top Man took a step back in the right direction last time so he's feared most from a tumbling mark, ahead of Jungle Prose.
