6/1

Smart hurdler who didn't need to be at best to win 6-runner Grade 3 event at this course (18.6f, good to soft) 31 days ago. Has loads of chasing experience to call upon and should go well again.

66/1

Fairly useful chaser. Latest at Sligo in September. Creditable second of 10 in handicap chase at Cork (17.7f, good to soft) 27 days ago, though was again held back by his jumping and this is harder.

Forecasts

Cape Gentleman (8/11), Riviere D'etel (9/4), Buddy Rich (5/1), Embittered (6/1), Take All (14/1), Grange Walk (66/1), Choungaya (150/1)

It was hard not to be impressed by the way CAPE GENTLEMAN sauntered clear of his rivals late on in a Grade 3 event at Cork 13 days ago, so he's expected to extend his unbeaten start over fences, perhaps at the main expense of the promising Riviere d'Etel, who is armed with both an age and sex allowance.
