Quickly reached a useful level over hurdles last term, winning twice at 2m prior to good second in Gr 2. Below par thereafter but no surprise to see better now handicapping on return/following wind op
Made big strides forward over fences last season, completing hat-trick in Greatwood Gold Cup at Newbury in March. Easy to overlook return in Welsh Champion Hurdle and better showing not ruled out.
Had smashing time of things on back of lengthy absence last term, winning at Southwell (20.4f) in July prior to hitting frame in stronger events on 4 of next 5 starts. Returns on back of a wind op.
Enjoyed a productive 2019, signing off with success in a 9-runner Carlisle handicap hurdle (20f) in November. Absent since however, so betting may prove best guide here.
Impressed when landing back-to-back 2m handicaps on Flat this summer and ran well to finish fourth in Cesarewitch last time. Yard continues in fine form and he's interesting reverting back to timber.
Landed juvenile/novice hurdles either side of a sound fourth in an Ascot handicap (15.7f) in March. Never threatened on Chepstow return in October but it remains relatively early days.
Scored on hurdles debut at Chepstow (2m) 12 months ago and better form when placed in novice company next 2 starts. Pulled up on handicap debut at Aintree in April but 2 lb lower here at least.
Progressive novice chaser during summer of 2018, winning twice at up to 17f. Failed to beat a rival either outing during 2019/20 season and another who need a market check on belated return.
Bright start over hurdles when landing pair of Wincanton maiden/novice hurdles (15.3f) last winter. Poor display on handicap bow in March but still early days and better showing anticipated on return.
Bumper winner who opened hurdles account in a Fakenham maiden (20f) in May. Better effort when second on handicap debut at Uttoxeter in June and he appeals as being on a workable mark.
Made it 3-5 this season with ready success in 19f handicap at Warwick in September. Handicapper applies a little more pressure but fancied to be in the mix in this groove.

Forecasts
Goobinator (13/8), Llandinabo Lad (3/1), Bucko's Boy (7/1), Hunters Call (15/2), Isthebaropen (9/1), The Grey Falco (20/1), Tinnahalla (20/1), Umbrigado (22/1), Bold Plan (28/1), Pol Crocan (33/1), Bordeaux Bill (66/1), One For Billy (80/1)
A good quality handicap with the vote in favour of GOOBINATOR. Below his best over hurdles earlier in the year, he's been resurgent on the Flat, scoring twice prior to finishing fourth in the Cesarewitch last time. He gets the nod to come out on top back over timber with his yard in excellent order. Isthebaropen, at the foot of the weights, Pol Crocan and Hunters Call head up the dangers.
- GOOBINATOR (USA)
- ISTHEBAROPEN
- POL CROCAN (IRE)
