Kensington Art^b¹⁸

4/1

Dual Flat winner who opened account over hurdles in maiden company at Hexham (16.2f) in August. However, has found life tougher in handicaps since and probably remains a shade too high in the weights.

Form: 43-2154

Zuba⁵⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: Tabitha Worsley| T: N J Gifford| OR: 107| D

16/1

Opened hurdles account in 2m Plumpton maiden in May, but now has something to prove having been beaten a long way over the same C&D on return/handicap debut in this sphere in September.

Form: 044-146

Wise Glory^t⁴²

Age: 4| Weight: 11-3| J: Lorcan Williams⁽³⁾| T: P F Nicholls| OR: 105| BF

9/2

Useful Flat winner for the Crisfords in 2020. Has failed to threaten in his 4 starts over hurdles to date, but on a potentially handy mark for handicap debut in this sphere.

Form: 652-3

James Park Woods^h²⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Mr Ben Ffrench Davis⁽⁵⁾| T: D J S Ffrench Davis| OR: 104

11/1

Fair performer on the Flat and, equipped with a first-time hood, he bettered his hurdles debut display when third in a 7-runner Huntingdon novice (15.8f) last month. Worth a second look.

Form: 43

Man Of Light²⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 11-1| J: Sean Houlihan| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR: 103

10/1

Appears to have gone the wrong way subsequent to his wide-margin maiden hurdle success at Bangor in May, and it's probably best to look elsewhere.

Form: 4-U1587

Amelia's Dance^h⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: Liam Harrison| T: R Walford| OR: 102| D

3/1

Found some improvement when readily opening her account at Stratford (16.3f) last month. Respectable third off this mark at Hereford since and she's one of the likelier winners.

Form: 370-313

Forecasts

Amelia's Dance (3/1), Kensington Art (4/1), Thahab Ifraj (9/2), Wise Glory (9/2), Inn The Bull (9/1), Man Of Light (10/1), James Park Woods (11/1), Zuba (16/1)

WISE GLORY has yet to make a meaningful impact over hurdles, but it's still early days and the 4-y-o is appealing now pitched into a handicap off a potentially very handy mark given the level of ability he showed on the Flat last year. Amelia's Dance has found some improvement of late and she should give another good account, while James Park Woods is most interesting of the remainder.
