An interesting mares' handicap chase in which it may pay to side with ALPHA CARINAE. A fairly useful sort over hurdles, she wasn't 100% at Newbury when last seen but returns with her yard in cracking order and it would come as no surprise to see a good showing. Lilly Pedlar, a winner over hurdles at Ffos Las in May, is also of interest. Hawthorn Cottage completes the shortlist.
