Grade 2 novice hurdle winner at Ascot in 2019 but last season was a washout, first run for this yard when well held at Aintree in April (bled). Tongue tie on and bit to prove sent chasing on return.

Fairly useful ex-Irish hurdler who bettered that form in 5 runs over fences for this yard, just denied at Chepstow when last seen in March. Jumping is still a concern, though.

Scored at Ffos Las on return last season and some decent efforts in defeat when highly tried after. Player if taking to fences at the first attempt.

Point winner who displayed progressive form over hurdles last term, winning twice. Not disgraced when third in Grade 1 at Chepstow on return and will make a better chaser. Handicap debut.

Landed maiden/novice hurdles either side of solid efforts in pair of competitive Cheltenham handicaps last autumn. However, failed miserably to meet expectations sent chasing at Perth on return.

Shaped with plenty of promise when second at Exeter on debut and duly went a place better when scoring there 5 weeks later. Off 11 months but interesting he's sent chasing already. Handicap debut.

Forecasts

Up For Parol (11/8), Shakem Up'arry (5/2), One True King (6/1), Eden Du Houx (9/1), Master Debonair (12/1), Dock Road (16/1), Zambezi Fix (20/1)

Verdict

UP FOR PAROL has done well over hurdles and was far from disgraced considering he lost a shoe when third in the Persian War at Chepstow on return. He's the type to prove at least as good a chaser (winning pointer) and his opening mark could be a fair one considering. Shakem Up'Arry is another interesting newcomer to this sphere having finished runner-up in the Tolworth last season.
