Completed a quick-fire hat-trick during the spring, the first leg of which was registered over this C&D. Below par when last seen at Uttoxeter, but eased slightly in grade here and he merits respect.
Won twice over fences in France during the spring, and didn't do much wrong back on these shores when runner-up at Ludlow (2½m) last month. No surprise if he's on the premises here.
Five-time winner over hurdles, but failed to fire in that sphere at Market Rasen when last seen in May and has failed to complete on 5 of his 8 previous starts over fences.
Fairly useful hurdles winner and good second on handicap bow in this sphere at Newton Abbot last September. However, pulled up both subsequent starts and bit to prove now. Has rejoined former yard.
Runner-up on a couple of occasions over hurdles last term and wasn't disgraced on return/debut for new yard in a handicap hurdle here recently. However, improvement needed now switched to fences.
Largely below par since landing this race in 2019, but has been given a chance by the handicapper and he would be a danger to all if able to bounce back now tried in cheekpieces.

Forecasts
Kauto The King (5/2), Crealion (11/4), Midnight Midge (7/2), Guy (7/2), Eragon De Chanay (4/1), Ouro Branco (6/1), Not A Role Model (8/1), Keep Moving (12/1), Iron Mike (18/1)
Ready preference is for GUY, who made a very positive start to the season when finding just one too good in a competitive Market Rasen handicap and, with just five starts under his belt in this sphere, the 6-y-o should have more to offer. Kauto The King is feared with conditions in his favour and Crealion also enters calculations, along with last year's winner Not A Role Model.
