Smart on his day, as he demonstrated when landing a big pot for Willie Mullins at Leopardstown in May. However, makes debut for new yard on the back of a string of low-key efforts. Cheekpieces added.

Grade 1 Long Walk Hurdle winner in December 2019, but clearly not the force of old having failed to fire both starts over hurdles last term prior to coming up short in a couple of hunter chases.
Posted a career-best when winning 15-runner handicap hurdle at Bellewstown (20.3f) in August. Successful on the Flat last month, too, and this Irish raider is worthy of consideration.
Clear-cut winner of 3m Sandown handicap chase in February, but was pulled up on his other 3 starts last term and it's hard to know what to expect of him back in this sphere. Yard also saddles Pileon.
Useful winning hurdler/maiden chaser for Dan Skelton, but hasn't fired in 2 starts over fences for new yard this season and resumes in this sphere on a tough-looking mark.
Improved during 2019/20 campaign and shaped well when fourth of 11 here on chase debut/sole start last season. Trip/ground no problem and should have a part to play back hurdling if fully tuned-up.
Quickly made up into a smart novice chaser last term and by no means disgraced when fifth in a Grade 2 at the Cheltenham Festival when last seen in March. Resumes in this sphere on an attractive mark.
Failed to shine (initially over fences) last term, but it's worth remembering that he was just touched off in the Martin Pipe off a 6 lb higher mark at the 2020 Cheltenham Festival. One to consider.
Largely progressive 6-y-o who opened his account at fifth attempt for this yard when bagging a Uttoxeter handicap (23.3f) in June. More needed up 6 lb, but he's an intriguing candidate all the same.
Ended last season on a high, landing back-to-back handicap hurdles upped to this trip at Doncaster and Ayr. Little impact on return/chase debut at Uttoxeter, but possibilities back in this sphere.
Low-mileage 7-y-o who scored twice over fences at Chepstow last term. However, his profile is starting to look rather patchy and he faces an uphill task back hurdling from 7 lb out of the weights.

Forecasts
South Terrace (4/1), Act Of God (4/1), Remastered (9/2), Aquila Sky (13/2), The Worlds End (15/2), Pileon (17/2), Rapper (17/2), Deise Aba (25/1), Supreme Escape (28/1), Supremely Lucky (40/1), Koshari (80/1)
The pick of several appealing candidates in this competitive contest is REMASTERED, who returns to hurdles on a potentially handy mark judged on his exploits over fences last season and his record when fresh also augurs well. Act of God is well worth another try over this sort of trip and, fresh from a recent victory on the level, he is next on the list ahead of Rapper and Pileon.
- REMASTERED
- ACT OF GOD
- RAPPER
