Potters Venture²³⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: Sean Houlihan| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR: 118

7/2

Maiden Irish pointer who made all in a novice at Chepstow 2 years ago. Easily best effort from 3 runs last season when respectable third at Fontwell when last seen in March. Chase debut.

Form: 331/P53-

Dustin Des Mottes²²²

Age: 8| Weight: 11-11| J: Lewis Stones⁽³⁾| T: S-J Davies| OR: 117

16/1

French import yet to win on these shores but was in the process of running well back from a wind op when unseating 5 out at Sandown. Might have found next run coming too soon and off since (7 months).

Form: 2836U5-

Monty's Award^p¹⁴⁰

Age: 9| Weight: 11-11| J: Tabitha Worsley| T: A Irvine| OR: 117| D

18/1

Twice a winner last season though not the most consistent. Didn't respond too well to this headgear at Market Rasen when last seen in June though that was a deeper race than this.

Form: PP31-43

Hamilton Dici²⁵³

Age: 4| Weight: 11-1| J: Chester Williams| T: K Bailey & M Nicholls| OR: 116| C

3/1

Struck at second time of asking when just clinging on in juvenile hurdle here. Subsequently sold out of Jane Williams' yard for £75,000 but only third at Huntingdon next time. Chase/handicap debut.

Form: 013-

Jarlath^p¹⁷

Age: 10| Weight: 10-12| J: Daniel Sansom| T: J W Mullins| OR: 104| CD

11/2

Not scored over fences since 2019 but at least stopped the slide when second at Exeter last time and mark has been eased another 1 lb.

Form: 152-7P2

Bardd¹⁷³

Age: 9| Weight: 10-4| J: Caoilin Quinn⁽⁵⁾| T: Mrs D O'Neill| OR: 96| BF

5/1

Hasn't proved the most reliable but he was in good nick when placed in handicaps over C&D and at Exeter earlier this year. Not in same form next 2 starts but bounce back not ruled out on return.

Form: 56233-6

Forecasts

Hamilton Dici (3/1), Potters Venture (7/2), Mister Murchan (7/2), Bardd (5/1), Jarlath (11/2), Massini Man (12/1), Dustin Des Mottes (16/1), Monty's Award (18/1)

MISTER MURCHAN is used to keeping better company over fences and will be suited by the drop back in trip on return. Potters Venture took a while to find his form last season but he remains low mileage ahead of his chase bow, while Monty's Award is another dropping in class.
