10/3

Won valuable contest here in the spring. Good runs twice on the back of another win at Kelso (21f) in September and solid claims in re-fitted headgear despite a nudge up the weights.

11/8

Fair maiden hurdler who was holding his form in handicaps here when last seen, in the frame behind Iolani in a competitive contest final start. Probably needs further ideally but has races in him.

My Macho Man^t²⁰

Fair Flat winner for John Quinn and some promise initially over hurdles for this yard. Hasn't kicked on in handicaps, though continues to fall in the weights.

Form: 5-43698

Forecasts

Diamond State (11/8), Cousin Oscar (2/1), Iolani (10/3), My Macho Man (9/1)

DIAMOND STATE probably needs further ideally but this could potentially be a good opening for him on his return. He's clearly got races in him judged on several of his efforts here last season, including when keeping on behind Iolani in a valuable handicap on his last run. Dianne Sayer's charge continues in good form and looks the solid alternative.
