Third between the flags prior to scoring readily on Fontwell bumper debut for Harry Whittington. Had a wind op/also tongue tied on this hurdling bow but still a good prospect.

Is well-made gelding with a smart pedigree but has a long way to go to live up to it judged on early evidence, though did shape as if better for the run after 6 months off on hurdle debut last time.

Overcame inexperience to make a successful bumper debut at Sandown (heavy) in November 2019. Not seen since but he has plenty about him physically, so should make a jumper.

Brave Kingdom (5/4), Mumbo Jumbo (16/5), Camdonian (4/1), Coachman (10/1), Fly Number One (14/1), Risk D'Argent (16/1), Fitz In (18/1), Don Alvaro (33/1), Noter Le (40/1), Imperial Joe (40/1), Tommy Dillion (125/1), Everything'sontick (150/1), Ladi Chala (150/1), Angus De Bull (300/1), Marias Lad (300/1), Mr Jorrocks (300/1)

Verdict

BRAVE KINGDOM's Fontwell bumper success is backed up by the timefigure so he could be the answer on this switch to hurdling fitted with a tongue tie. Mumbo Jumbo is second choice after shaping best of the newcomers in a Newbury bumper back in March, though Camdonian, an interesting debutant from a top yard, and Coachman, a £140,000 buy following a point win, are others to take seriously.

  1. BRAVE KINGDOM (FR)
  2. MUMBO JUMBO (IRE)
  3. CAMDONIAN (IRE)
