Fair hurdler who opened her account in 21.6f maiden at Newton Abbot in April. Big player when falling last at Bangor on return in September but this looks tougher conceding weight all round.

Placed sole start on Flat and impressed when easily landing 3-runner fillies' juvenile hurdle at Angers (18.9f) in March. Very much the type to do better again starting out for new connections.

All-weather bumper winner who may not have been ideally to underfoot conditions when fifth in a mares' maiden on hurdles bow in May. However, in excellent hands and she's the type to do better.

Matched pick of form in Ireland when runner-up in a mares' novice on yard debut at Sedgefield (19.8f) earlier this month. However, she may be vulnerable to a few here.

Kayf Tara mare who confirmed bumper debut promise when quickening clear to land 3-runner Fontwell bumper in May. Has to merit respect for good yard now tackling timber.

Midfield in a Tipperary bumper sole start in Ireland but failed to see things out making yard/hurdles debut in a C&D mares' maiden earlier this month. This should reveal a good deal more.

Successful on first of 4 starts in bumpers and whilst only sixth in 8-runner mares' novice on hurdles bow in June, she rates a likely type to improve for that experience.

Sister to fairly useful hurdler Shiroccan Roll. Dam fair 2m hurdle winner. Nearer last than first both starts in bumpers earlier this year and undergone wind surgery ahead of this.

Well held both starts in bumpers but modicum of promise to glean from her hurdling debut fourth in a Chepstow mares' novice (19.5f) recently. Type to do better later on.

Great Pretender half-sister to useful hurdler/chaser Amore Alato (2m-3m winner) and useful hurdler/chaser Solomon Grey (2m-2½m winner). Very interesting newcomer for powerful stable.

Gris De Gris filly who won both starts in bumpers (at up to 14.4f) in France during the spring. Market should prove best guide now hurdling for new yard.

Call The Fairies (9/2), Puffin Bay (9/2), Tequila Blaze (5/1), Giulietta (11/2), Trapista (6/1), Brilliant Present (6/1), Chosen Port (8/1), Flat White (10/1), Eavesdropping (11/1), Pop The Champagne (14/1), Houka D'oudairies (16/1), Miss Mcgugen (50/1), Shiroccy Road (66/1), Elusive Polly (250/1)

Verdict

A fair winner in bumpers, PUFFIN BAY shaped with plenty of promise and was arguably unlucky not to win when runner-up in an Exeter mares' maiden earlier this month. This longer trip promises to suit and she's expected to be a big player again. There is undoubtedly depth in opposition though, the threats headed up by Eavesdropping, Trapista and Giulietta.

  3. TRAPISTA (FR)
