EDITEUR DU GITE had several of these behind when winning the Red Rum at the Grand National meeting and could be set for a good season. He'd been runner-up twice here previously and can defy an 8 lb rise if ready to roll. Sully d'Oc AA was his nearest pursuer at Aintree and went on to land a big pot at Punchestown. He is a big player. Frero Banbou and One For Rosie are also considered.
