Just 1-28 overall (0-15 in this sphere) and while he went close off this mark at Uttoxeter (2m) in July, his latest effort on debut for new connections at Perth was uninspiring.
Failed to fire last season, but she won twice off higher marks than this during 2019/20 campaign and this 7-y-o is worth noting in the betting having undergone a second wind op last month.
More miss than hit in Ireland, but managed to land a Tipperary handicap chase in May. Good front-running shift when second for new yard at Stratford (19.4f) and claims if reproducing that form here.
Has posted several good efforts over hurdles this term and solid third back in this sphere at Hexham (15.6f) recently. Likely to be in the thick of things off the same mark here.
Modest over hurdles, but looked a different proposition switched to fences when scoring in good style at Plumpton last week. Open to improvement in this sphere and obvious claims under a penalty.
Signs of ability over hurdles, albeit without troubling the judge on each of his nine starts in that sphere and step forward needed on this chase debut.
Irish maiden hurdle winner last year and creditable third over this C&D on second chase start in April. Well beaten both starts since, though, and needs to get back on track now tried in blinkers.
Point winner who bettered previous Rules efforts when fourth in a handicap chase at Hexham (15.6f) recently (first run following a wind op). Possibilities if able to build on that.
Irresolute veteran who boasts a very poor strike rate and offered precious little starting out for this yard at Ffos Las when last seen in May.

Forecasts
Give Me A Moment (11/8), Salamanca School (11/5), Follow Your Fire (10/1), Rapid Raider (11/1), Bitasweetsymphony (12/1), Little Light (12/1), Blueberry Wine (12/1), Some Spin (16/1), Schmidt (20/1), Yourholidayisover (125/1)
SALAMANCA SCHOOL looked a natural when making a successful chase debut at Plumpton, winning in the manner of one who is destined for better things. He should have little trouble following up under a penalty. Give Me A Moment and Follow Your Fire both arrive here on the back of solid efforts and are live each-way players, but Little Light is an appealing value alternative for forecast purposes.
