Bred to need time and distance so encouraging that she could win a bumper on her second start last month. No easy task conceding weight to the majority here.

Flat-bred who didn't make it to the track for Richard Hannon but landed some bets in a Stratford bumper in July. Shaped well when second at Uttoxeter last week and that form puts her right there.

Clear ability amidst greenness when fourth of 11 starting out at Chepstow in March. That form is pretty ordinary.

Shaped like a stayer when keeping on for fourth at Southwell in May. That race has worked out quite well and this should be a stiffer test of stamina.

Dam won a bumper but too green to show full worth starting out at Fakenham in March. This track should be more suitable.

Stable not known for exploits in bumpers but she found only one too good on debut at Kelso last month. That steadily-run contest isn't form to be going overboard about.

Verdict

Plenty of powerful bumper yards on show in this. Alan Jones does well with the ammunition he has and LADY EXCALIBUR, a six-figure yearling bred for the Flat, is just about the most persuasive option of those with racecourse experience. Ma Belle Noire could be a different proposition this time, with Blue Suede Shoes and Sorceress Medea interesting newcomers.

  1. LADY EXCALIBUR (IRE)
  2. MA BELLE NOIRE
  3. BLUE SUEDE SHOES (IRE)
