Right back to form over hurdles last winter, better than ever when landing Lanzarote Hurdle (21f) at Kempton in January. Well beaten in Coral Cup next time and present mark demands more.
Useful hurdler who scored at the first attempt over fences at Stratford (21f) in July. Didn't progress in 2 subsequent outings in that sphere and he may be vulnerable to a couple back over timber.
Lightly raced since scoring twice in 2019 but shaped like a well-treated horse before finding less than looked likely when fourth at Ffos Las (23.8f) in May. Undergone wind op since and not ruled out.
Off the mark in handicap at Uttoxeter (2½m) in November. Consistent in defeat thereafter, looking a big threat when falling 2 out in a novice back at that venue in April. Mark remains workable.
Irish point winner who confirmed previous promise when off the mark in a Southwell novice hurdle (20.4f) in February. Disappointed back there in March but still early days ahead of switch to handicaps
Second only start in bumpers and upwardly mobile in handicap hurdles, cosily landing handicaps at Southwell/Warwick (21f) in the spring. 8 lb higher now but highly likely there's more to come. Player.
Martaline gelding who confirmed previous promise when landing a Southwell maiden (20.4f) in May, travelling strongly and winning easily. Totally unexposed now handicapping and he's worth a look.

Forecasts
Pounding Poet (3/1), Riggs (10/3), Winningseverything (7/2), Only The Bold (5/1), Mackelduff (11/2), Some Day Soon (14/1), Mick Maestro (14/1), Boreham Bill (25/1)
POUNDING POET takes a step up in grade, yet he could hardly have been more impressive when supplementing his breakthrough Southwell success at Warwick in May and an 8 lb rise shouldn't prevent a bold bid to complete the hat-trick for his in-form yard on return. Mackelduff, a winner himself at Southwell in the spring, is interesting now handicapping, along with Winningseverything.
