Forecasts

Jimi Hendrix (7/4), Velazquez (5/2), Beluga Gold (9/2), Medrara (8/1), Jabbar (11/1), Farhh Point (16/1), Ample Power (22/1), Dougies Dream (25/1), Cumulonimbus (40/1), Dion Baker (50/1), Volos (50/1), Eagle's Way (50/1), Sydney Bay (100/1), Overdraft (125/1), Ahamoment (125/1), Moonlight Dawn (125/1)

Verdict

VELAZQUEZ split a couple of useful sorts in a heavy-ground maiden at Sandown and was far from disgraced in a warm York maiden since. He sets a clear standard and is preferred to Jimi Hendrix, who caught the eye when fifth at Salisbury. Medrara and Dion Baker are a couple of newcomers to note.

  1. VELAZQUEZ (IRE)
  2. JIMI HENDRIX (IRE)
  3. MEDRARA
