Plenty of promise in hot 7f Newmarket newcomers' race on debut in August. Better than result when green at York 6 weeks ago, and while that form isn't great, he seems sure to improve still up in trip.

Expensive buy who was first past the post at Carlisle in August, only to lose race in the stewards' room. Respectable run after a gelding op in 1m Ayr nursery since and shouldn't stay a maiden.

Frankel colt from a great family and shaped well on debut in a warm-looking maiden at Newmarket (1m) 3 weeks ago under Murphy, catching the eye late on as the penny dropped. Sure-fire improver.

Fair form in a couple of similar events around this trip in August but needs a step forward to open his account in this warm-looking contest.

This looks a good chance for Oisin Murphy to get another on the board with MAGISTERIAL a banker to improve on his very promising Newmarket debut. He was motoring late on there and is a winner-in-waiting. William Buick rides an interesting newcomer in Kaasirr, while Boy About Town is another to note first time up. The experienced King of York and Just Wonder also can't be discounted.
