Off time: 14:21 | Winning time: 3m 22.15s

Strong Glance¹⁸⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 11-12| J: Lewis Stones⁽⁷⁾| T: O Murphy| OR: 127

4/1

Fairly useful hurdler who won a couple of jumpers bumpers earlier in the year, then struggled in competitive handicaps at Cheltenham and Aintree in the spring. Back from 6 months off in calmer waters.

Form: 8R1100-

Get Back Get Back^t⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: Lorcan Murtagh⁽³⁾| T: H Fry| OR: 122

3/1

Dual handicap winner around 2m last season and good second on 3 of his 4 outings this time round, clear of the rest at Exeter 7 days ago. Claims if his jumping holds up.

Form: 30-2252

Wasdell Dundalk^p¹³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: Nick Scholfield| T: J & A O'Neill| OR: 122| BF

10/1

Improved to complete a double at Worcester in July but just a respectable third after 10-week break at Fontwell 13 days ago. Should strip fitter for that, but this test might be on the sharp side.

Form: 3-23113

Ar Mest¹³¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-5| J: T Scudamore| T: R J Smith| OR: 120

50/1

Won a selling handicap hurdle at Fakenham on final start for Gary Moore. Disappointing over fences for Nick Mitchell since, so something to prove back hurdling after a 131-day absence.

Form: 522-137

Roar¹⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 11-0| J: David Bass| T: E De Giles| OR: 115| BF

25/1

Form: 2P16-15

See The Sea^t⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 10-13| J: Peter Kavanagh⁽¹⁰⁾| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 114

11/10

Likeable front runner who bolted up off this mark at Ludlow 8 days ago and should have little trouble following up if the race doesn't come too soon.

Form: 643221

Thahab Ifraj⁵³

Age: 8| Weight: 10-13| J: Fergus Gillard⁽³⁾| T: Alexandra Dunn| OR: 114| CD

16/1

Has done well over hurdles since last October, scoring three times. Last of 6 at Worcester 53 days ago, but likely no more than a blip, so he should bounce back.

Form: 13-1226

Forecasts

See The Sea (11/10), Get Back Get Back (3/1), Strong Glance (4/1), Wasdell Dundalk (10/1), Manor Park (10/1), Thahab Ifraj (16/1), Roar (25/1), Ar Mest (50/1)

SEE THE SEA scored by a wide margin under this rider off the same mark at Ludlow 8 days ago, so she's a straightforward choice to go in again. Get Back Get Back is also turned out before reassessed, and he's the main danger ahead of the reappearing Strong Glance, who drops in grade.
