Smart hurdler at his best and regained winning thread at Kelso (25.7f) in March. Has finished well held both starts since, latterly on return at Auteuil in September. Still, no forlorn hope.
Maiden winner on the Flat for Aidan O'Brien in 2019. Showed fair form over hurdles for John Halley in the spring. Not made an impact on Flat/over hurdles for present yard and others preferred.
Rattled off a hat-trick at Salisbury (12f) in July and ran with credit on 3 of his 4 starts since, left poorly placed when fourth back at aforementioned venue (14f) latest. Should go well again.
Fairly useful maiden in France (stays 1¼m). However, not offered much under various codes for present stable, including on back of a wind op at Epsom in August.
Flat/hurdles winner for Amanda Perrett who was pulled up only start for Tim Vaughan. Limited impact in couple of spins on Flat for new yard but his mark is easing at least.
Dual staying handicap winner for Roger Charlton the latest coming at Nottingham in May. Mixed record since, below best on yard debut at Kempton (2m) 23 days ago. Eased 1 lb since ahead of turf return.
Ended last season over jumps with success at Newbury (3m) in February. Looked tapped for toe in soundly-run 2m York handicap in May but this forecast softer ground may help here.
Multiple fibresand winner who enhanced good AW record at Chelmsford (2m) in August. Too free when well held at York last month and he's still to taste success on turf.
Been in good heart this year winning back-to-back staying handicaps at Lingfield/Carlisle. Good third at Ffos Las (2m) late last month and sound claims of hitting the frame again.
Useful jumper at best for Willie Mullins but strictly below his best on level in recent months, including on yard debut at Salisbury (14f) 10 days ago. 3 lb lower now at least.
Low-mileage 4-y-o who opened his account at Southwell (16.4f) in May. Not disgraced on each of his 3 starts on AW more recently but well held on sole previous turf start encountering soft ground.
Does most of his racing on AW but relished first experience of testing ground on turf when bolting up at Lingfield (16.3f) in July. Booking of Coleman catches the eye if he can replicate that here.
Right back to form when striking at Chepstow (2m) in April. Solid fourth over shorter trip at Newbury (12f) the following month and his current mark shouldn't rule out another good showing on return.
Maiden who has gone close on occasions this term, running up to best when third at Salisbury (12f) in August. Efforts since probably best overlooked, seemingly not 100% at York latest. Not ruled out.
Big prices and yet to feature in trio of novice events at around 12f this term. Longer trip/switch to handicaps needs to bring about improvement here, operating from out of the weights.

Forecasts
Polish (7/2), Alpine Stroll (9/2), Cochise (6/1), Soros (6/1), Manucci (9/1), Tin Fandango (10/1), Be My Sea (11/1), Tralee Hills (16/1), Agrapart (16/1), Sayo (16/1), Zillion (25/1), Arabian King (40/1), San Pedro (100/1), Fort Nelson (100/1), Catfish Row (100/1)
A leap of faith is required in supporting 3-y-o ALPINE STROLL on the back of his last 2 runs. However, he'd knocked on the door previously this term from higher marks on ground softer than good and could just be worth chancing to put it all together again in a wide-open affair. Tin Fandango under Aidan Coleman, Polish and Zillion head up the dangers.
- ALPINE STROLL
- TIN FANDANGO
