Champagne Getaway¹⁵³

Age: 6| Weight: 12-0| J: Mr N J O'Mara⁽⁷⁾| T: T J O'Mara

33/1

€16,000 3-y-o, Getaway gelding. Dam pulled up in 3 points. Market can prove a good guide for newcomer.

Form: P/FP-P

Emperor Dani

Age: 5| Weight: 12-0| J: Mr H C Swan⁽⁷⁾| T: L P Cusack

18/1

€11,000 3-y-o, Scorpion gelding. Dam fair bumper winner out of useful 2m-2½m hurdle winner Tryphaena. Makes some appeal on paper, so respected debutant.

Form:

Beeverstown Bullet²⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: Mr D Kiely⁽⁷⁾| T: M A Cahill

5/1

Modest hurdler. Off 12 months before good fifth of 17 in bumper at Listowel (16f, good to soft) 20 days ago. Can make his presence felt.

Form: 49/576-5

Free Nelson¹⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-12| J: Mr J J Codd| T: G Elliott

5/2

Twice-raced maiden, off 26 months before eye-catching fourth of 14 in 2m Listowel maiden on his hurdling bow last month, running on late without being given a hard time of it. Interesting.

Form: 0/4

Imperial Lord¹⁸¹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-12| J: Mr J W Hendrick⁽⁷⁾| T: Yvonne Latta

16/1

€4,500 3-y-o, Imperial Monarch gelding. Half-brother to modest hurdler Manintheshadows and poor chaser Miss Mackie. Others appeal more on this occasion.

Form: F5FP-

Hardy Fella

Age: 4| Weight: 11-11| J: Mr T Hamilton| T: J J Hanlon

25/1

€3,000 3-y-o, Libertarian gelding. Dam showed nothing over hurdles. Newcomer looks to face no easy introduction here.

Form:

Angelsworknovrtime^h1,t³³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: Miss H Heffernan⁽⁷⁾| T: J Fahey

11/2

Twice-raced maiden, racing freely when fifth of 10 in bumper at Galway (16.6f, good, 10/1) 33 days ago. Hood on 1st time and may do better if settling better.

Form: 25

Forecasts

Ambitious Fellow (6/4), Free Nelson (5/2), Beeverstown Bullet (5/1), Angelsworknovrtime (11/2), Imperial Lord (16/1), Emperor Dani (18/1), Hardy Fella (25/1), Champagne Getaway (33/1)

FREE NELSON caught the eye after a long absence on his first run for Gordon Elliott last month and looks the way to go here with plenty of improvement in the pipeline. Both Ambitious Fellow and Beeverstown Bullet have the form to play a part and appeal as the two to chase home the selection in that order.
