Resumed winning ways at Catterick (12f) in September. Good second of 10 from 5 lb higher mark at Redcar (14f) 24 days ago, collared only late on and another good showing anticipated back down in trip.
Fallen plenty in weights and turned in best effort of the season when 1¼ lengths second of 11 to Peerless Percy in a C&D handicap 17 days ago, running on. Possibilities again with a repeat.
Strong in the betting when belatedly off the mark here 5 weeks ago and closed down only late on by Viceregent when doubling tally over C&D 17 days ago. 4 lb higher now but respected in hat-trick bid.
Maiden on Flat who landed a juvenile hurdle at Uttoxeter (15.7f) last summer. Ended time with Amy Murphy with good second at Stratford (18.6f) in July and market may prove useful back on the level.
4-y-o whose mark has plummeted but he didn't show enough in handful of starts earlier in the year to make him of interest back from a break here.
Lightly-raced maiden who made more impact than previously when runner-up on yard debut at Redcar (14f) last month, albeit not looking entirely straightforward under pressure. Cheekpieces again fitted.
Maiden who hit the frame from sliding mark in pair of handicaps for Alan King during the summer. Never figured on hurdles bow in July and likely best watched having changed hands for £5,000 since.
One win from 22 Flat runs. Tongue strap on for 1st time, 6¼ lengths fourth of 11 to Major Snugfit in handicap at Catterick (12.1f, good to firm) 31 days ago. Others make more appeal for win purposes.
9/2, respectable fifth of 11 in handicap at Chelmsford City (14f) 26 days ago, headed over 2f out and no extra. Not discounted for each-way purposes.
Tenth of 11 in handicap (12/1) at Beverley (9.9f, good to firm) 17 days ago, weakening final 1f. Others arrive with more pressing claims on balance.
Unreliable sort. Thirty one runs since last win in 2018. 10/1, seventh of 9 in handicap at Hamilton (12.1f, good) 42 days ago, already weakening when short of room 1f out. Others preferred.
Lightly-raced maiden on Flat. Ninth of 10 in handicap (25/1) at Wolverhampton (16.6f) 18 days ago. Back down in trip.
Bumper/hurdles winner for Harry Whittington who showed little in pair of AW minor events in the spring. Similar story on yard debut at Leicester in July but does at least now get a crack at handicaps.
Thrice-raced maiden. Sixth of 7 in minor event at Beverley (9.9f, good to soft, 200/1) 23 days ago, left behind from 2f out. Still, low-grade handicaps entitled to be more his bag now.

Forecasts
Peerless Percy (3/1), Major Snugfit (4/1), Viceregent (9/2), Victoria Line (13/2), Everett (9/1), Lantiern (10/1), Jamih (16/1), Blue Honey (22/1), Faramman (40/1), Framley Garth (50/1), Topkapi Star (66/1), Danking (66/1), Williamwilberforce (80/1), Cornell (150/1)
Having gone close around here last autumn, PEERLESS PERCY has put it all together to land back-to-back C&D handicaps in recent weeks, producing his best effort yet when denying re-opposing Viceregent by 1¼ lengths 17 days ago. A 4 lb rise shouldn't prevent another bold bid and he can complete the hat-trick. Major Snugfit also arrives in grand order and should feature.
- PEERLESS PERCY (IRE)
- MAJOR SNUGFIT
- VICEREGENT
