Left previous form behind when second over C&D in July, albeit flattered by his proximity to the winner. Unable to back that up on handicap debut last time and looks well up against it here.
Not much encouragement in 2 bumpers but seemed to show more sent hurdling when fourth of 14 in maiden at Warwick (21f, good, 33/1) 6 months ago. Task is now to build on that.
£55,000 3-y-o, Shirocco gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful chaser Earth Leader. Off mark in point bumpers at second attempt (Apr 3) so needs a looks a leading player on his Rules debut.
Fair in bumpers and showed similar form second time up over hurdles when third in novice at Worcester (20f, good) 9 days ago. Will probably need to step forward again to feature.
Friendless in betting but showed a bit when midfield in a Southwell bumper (15.8f) in May. Looked more of a longer term project on hurdles bow so probably best to look elsewhere.
Ran respectably stepped up in trip for his handicap debut when third of 15 at Wincanton (21.4f, soft) back in March. Not dismissed if he's ready to roll on reappearance.
Presenting gelding who was well fancied back at a realistic level but disappointed at Warwick back in March. Upped in trip for hurdles debut so market should guide expectations.
Off the mark at the second attempt in bumpers and shaped with plenty promise sent hurdling when runner-up at Fontwell back in March. Step up in trip will suit so holds leading claims on reappearance.
Midnight Legend gelding. Dam point winner. Winning pointer, made frame last time (Dec 2020). One to take seriously on debut.
Plenty of promise in bumpers and shaped encouragingly after 7 months off when third on hurdling bow at Hexham back in June, noted doing his best work finish. Can build on that effort here.
Maiden Irish pointer who struggled in a pair of handicaps back in the spring. Back in maiden company here but has a bit to prove on return.
Kayf Tara filly. Sister to a winner, and half-sister to fairly useful hurdler Ballymillsy and fair hurdler/fairly useful chaser Midnight Moss. Market should guide expectations.

Forecasts
Another Brown Bear (5/2), The Bomber Liston (16/5), Grand Lord (4/1), Sandy Brook (9/2), Smoking Pigeon (15/2), Fantomas (25/1), Jersey (28/1), Allo Allo (28/1), Top Drawer (66/1), Lady Tara Moss (80/1), Ali Star Bert (150/1), Fitz The Brief (200/1)
The vote goes to SANDY BROOK, who shaped well despite showing signs of inexperience when finishing runner-up on hurdling debut at Fontwell back in March. This step up in trip is sure to suit Chris Gordon's charge, so he gets the nod to go one better on reappearance. The Nicky Henderson trained pair The Bomber Liston and Another Brown Bear could provide the biggest threats, ahead of Jersey.
