First win came off 58 but has done nothing but improve since, bagging Royal Ascot handicap and listed race at Chelmsford this summer. Another fine effort in the Sceptre Stakes at Doncaster last time.

Smart filly who was placed at Group 3/listed level before an underwhelming display in the Oak Tree Stakes at Goodwood 66 days ago. More than likely to bounce back after a break.

Useful handicapper who resumed winning ways at York in May, then underperformed at Salisbury next time. Up in grade back from a 101-day break, so others make more appeal.

Dual winner in France (7f) who ran best race for new stable when fifth in a Chester listed event before a disappointing showing in similar company at Ayr 15 days ago. Hard to fancy.

Dual 7f winner in 2020 and posted comfortably her best effort of this campaign when fifth to Silent Escape in listed event at Newbury 15 days ago. Solid claims if she can build on that.

Progressive filly who is already a dual winner and performed with credit in a handicap at Sandown 22 days ago. This looks a bit beyond her, though.

Improving filly who bagged novices at Lingfield and Newmarket before fine second of 5 in 1m listed race at Haydock in August. Not disgraced in handicap here last time, so respected back at this level.

Recorded a first turf success at Musselburgh in July and has held her form in handicaps since. Likeable type who has a bit to find, but should give her all under a positive ride.

Consistent sort who fared about as well as could have been expected when ninth in the Atalanta Stakes at Sandown 42 days ago. Has already shown she's out of her depth in this company, too.

Opened account in a 1m Newbury novice in June. Better form since but yet to show enough ability to think she can compete at this level.

Fairly useful filly who has given her running more often than not in handicap company. She's not up to this level, though.

Newbury maiden winner last autumn and improved a good deal when just failing in Fred Darling there on reappearance. Underwhelming all 4 starts since, though, so has something to prove at present.

Sturdy filly who has thrived in handicaps this season, bagging 7f events at Newbury and Sandown. Found the Sceptre Stakes too hot for her at Doncaster last time but this is a bit more realistic.

Forecasts

Highfield Princess (9/4), With Thanks (7/2), Rising Star (6/1), Chocoya (7/1), Bounce The Blues (8/1), Statement (9/1), Passionova (14/1), Sunset Bay (16/1), Molls Memory (22/1), Seattle Rock (33/1), Thunder Beauty (40/1), She Do (40/1), Makinitup (50/1), Rosemary And Thyme (66/1), Queen Kahlua (66/1), Undertheboardwalk (66/1)

Verdict

HIGHFIELD PRINCESS is one of the most likeable, reliable fillies in training and arrives on the back of a trio of quality performances in Group company, so she's a marginal choice to prevail back down in grade despite her 3-lb penalty. With Thanks is a big player if back to her best and the hat-trick seeking Chocoya is a notable participant returning to 7f.

  2. WITH THANKS (IRE)
  3. CHOCOYA
