Enjoyed dream run when making all on favoured stand rail in first-time blinkers in Cambridgeshire at Newmarket 12 months ago. Creditable efforts in defeat this year and needs considering.
Useful handicapper for Charlie Fellowes but below form both starts this year and sold for 35,000 gns in July.
Improved again to win first handicap at the fourth attempt at Sandown (10f, good to firm) in emphatic style. Hiked up 8 lb but not in same form at Goodwood since. Needs to resume progress.
Gained compensation for an unlucky defeat on debut when scoring at Newbury and followed up with plenty to spare at Doncaster. A bit disappointing on handicap bow at Sandown but worth another chance.
Progressive when winning first 3 starts, seeing off another improver at Salisbury. Seemingly stretched by 12f there next time and not disgraced up in class at Newmarket since. Not taken lightly.
Lightly-raced winner. Good efforts in defeat both starts this season, clear of rest when second of 5 in handicap at Kempton last week. Races off same mark here and could have more to offer still.
No show in 2 starts last year but back on track this term, capitalising on reduced mark at Windsor, battling well to edge ahead close home. Undone by a 4 lb rise next time, however, and this harder.
Handled conditions well to open his account at the sixth time of asking at Goodwood (9f, heavy) 8 weeks ago, leading approaching final 1f. Yet to run a poor race and he may do better still.

Forecasts
Lord Protector (9/4), Poet Of Life (10/3), Rebel Territory (7/2), Majestic Dawn (8/1), Just Fine (8/1), Prince Of Harts (12/1), March Law (14/1), King Carney (80/1)
Last year's Cambridgeshire winner MAJESTIC DAWN had to miss this year's renewal because of fast ground but conditions should be suitable here and he could be hard to catch. Poet of Life failed to meet expectations on his handicap bow at Sandown last time but he looked a smart prospect in novices prior to that so is worth another chance, with the progressive Rebel Territory another to consider.
- MAJESTIC DAWN (IRE)
- POET OF LIFE (IRE)
- REBEL TERRITORY
