Debut on the AW at Lingfield in June wasn't completely devoid of promise, but she'll need to take a big step forward in order to land this maiden.

Foaled May 17. Dam unraced half-sister to high-class winner up to 1m Bahri and very smart 2-y-o 7f winner (stayed 1¼m) Bahhare. Jim Crowley prefers Al Husn, but she needs a market check nonetheless.

Has shown promise in a couple of novice events at Kempton, latterly chasing home a useful-looking filly in a 4-runner affair over 7f. Likely to take a hand in the finish.

Positive start to her career when fourth in a 10-runner maiden on the July course (7f) in August. That form looks pretty decent and she's a big player here with improvement on the cards.

Forecasts

Thanks Monica (1/1), Al Husn (7/2), Siamsa (9/1), Parameter (9/1), Bint Elmalek (11/1), Lady Xenia (11/1), Indy Moon (16/1), Morag Mccullagh (20/1), Rose's Girl (20/1), Chips And Rice (28/1), Anificas Beauty (80/1)

Verdict

Several of the newcomers are appealing, but THANKS MONICA is taken to strike on the back of her encouraging debut fourth on the other course here. The form of that maiden is working out fairly well and the booking of Frankie Dettori is an added boost. Siamsa should pick up a race before long, but debutantes Al Husn, Parameter and Lady Xenia (in that order of preference) may pose bigger threats.
