MASEKELA's close second to Native Trail at the July meeting here reads very well in light of that one's Group 1 success in Ireland this month. Andrew Balding's colt should have more to offer now stepping up to 1m so he's preferred to Acomb-winner Royal Patronage, who also promises to benefit from the extra yardage this afternoon. Coroebus looked a good prospect on debut and also merits respect.
