Scored twice on the Flat during the spring and duly built on hurdles debut promise when seeing off a subsequent winner in a C&D novice this month. Mark for handicap bow in this sphere looks fair.
Off the mark on handicap debut at Taunton in April and was still in contention when exiting 2 out in a first-time visor (discarded here) at Bangor last time. However, others look better treated.
Made the most of a good opportunity when easily making all at Bangor (16.7f) in May, but subsequent handicap debut fifth over this C&D was underwhelming.
Improved to get off the mark over hurdles on handicap bow at Newbury (16.3f) in March. Hasn't shown much in 2 starts since being gelded/undergoing a wind op, though, and now has something to prove.
Fair hurdler who enhanced good record at Fakenham (2m) in March. Been more miss than hit since, however, and the percentage call is to look elsewhere.
Hurdles record is patchy and while he's found just one too good on each of his last 2 starts in this sphere (including over this C&D), others make more appeal from a win point of view.
Ex-German Flat winner who got off the mark in this sphere on heavy going at Southwell in February. Pulled up both starts since, though, and he's readily passed over on this debut for new connections.
Winner of a handicap hurdle in Ireland last October, but it's been all downhill since and there were very few positives to glean from his first run for this yard at Hexham.
Fair maiden on the Flat for Richard Hannon and went one better than on his hurdles debut when landing a juvenile event at Stratford in July. Not disgraced next time and merits respect on handicap bow.
Hasn't pulled up any trees in his 3 starts over hurdles, but makes handicap debut in this sphere on the back of a string of solid placed efforts on the Flat. Worth a second look.
Fair Flat maiden, but hasn't shown much over hurdles to date, pulled up on handicap debut at Exeter when last seen in March. Hopes pinned on subsequent wind op sparking improvement in this sphere.
Fairly useful on the Flat in France, winner of 6 races up to 1m. Some decent pieces of form to his name since switched to hurdles, but below par last time and needs to raise his game.

Forecasts
London Eye (2/1), Burristo (9/2), Long Call (13/2), Theocrat (15/2), Hackbridge (8/1), Man Of Light (14/1), Oneonechop (14/1), North Point (16/1), Glimpse Of Gold (20/1), Iron Heart (22/1), Aronius (25/1), Colonel Lesley (100/1)
The vote goes to LONDON EYE, who has taken well to hurdling and the manner of his C&D novice success suggests that he has more to offer. The 5-y-o may have most to fear from Burristo and Hackbridge, both of whom are also making their handicap debuts in this sphere. The latter has been knocking on the door on the Flat of late and he is second choice.
- LONDON EYE (USA)
- HACKBRIDGE
- BURRISTO (IRE)
