Instinctive Move¹³

Age: 2| Weight: 9-7| J: A Kirby| T: C G Cox| OR: 90| D

10/3

Looked potentially useful when making a winning debut at Bath. Came unstuck in listed event at Sandown next time but back on track in nurseries, keeping on well for second at Chester 13 days ago.

Kingboard Star²⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 9-5| J: L Morris| T: E Walker| OR: 88| D

8/1

Made an impressive winning debut at Bath but has failed to build on that since, albeit highly tried last 2 starts. Makes handicap debut.

Form: 1576

(3)

Korker¹⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 9-5| J: C Lee| T: K R Burke| OR: 88| D

6/1

Tough and likeable type who doubled his tally when scoring at Thirsk in July, well on top at the finish. Possible to excuse last two efforts and he figures on a very fair mark now handicapping.

Form: 219170

(4)

Devious Angel¹³

Age: 2| Weight: 9-4| J: Kieran Schofield⁽⁵⁾| T: Tom Dascombe| OR: 87| CD

16/1

Nippy, straightforward filly who made it 4 wins for the year in a Chester nursery last month. Brushed aside fairly readily last two outings and others possess greater scope.

Form: 171106

(8)

Bellarena Lady⁴²

Age: 2| Weight: 8-13| J: David Probert| T: E A L Dunlop| OR: 82| D

12/1

Dual 5f novice winner who found the going tough in a brace of listed races. Nurseries more suitable and her mark is perfectly fair.

Form: 21010

(5)

Come Quick²⁶

Age: 2| Weight: 8-13| J: R Kingscote| T: K R Burke| OR: 82| D

8/1

Improved a chunk when landing 10-runner nursery at Carlisle in August and backed that up when runner-up at Beverley 12 days later. Up 2 lb but still on a good mark.

Form: 333712

(6)

Sisters In The Sky³⁷

Age: 2| Weight: 8-12| J: Rhys Clutterbuck⁽⁵⁾| T: R A Teal| OR: 81

10/3

Breeze-up acquisition who upped his game to comfortably open his account in a maiden at Goodwood in July (6f). Not far off that level at York and drop to 5f looks a good move.

Form: 3515

(2)

Russellinthebushes¹³

Age: 2| Weight: 8-10| J: J F Egan| T: P D Evans| OR: 79| D

18/1

Speedy 2-y-o claimed from Tom Dascombe after a narrow defeat at Catterick. No chance in Super Sprint on debut for this yard but did finally get off the mark at Chester, seeing off Instinctive Move.

Form: 252021

(9)

Reversion¹⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 8-8| J: M Harley| T: A King| OR: 77| D

6/1

62,000 gns breeze-up purchase who continued theme of race-by-race progress when off the mark in 10-runner maiden at Sandown a fortnight ago. May have more to offer in handicaps.

Form: 731

Forecasts

Instinctive Move (10/3), Sisters In The Sky (10/3), Korker (6/1), Reversion (6/1), Come Quick (8/1), Kingboard Star (8/1), Bellarena Lady (12/1), Devious Angel (16/1), Russellinthebushes (18/1)

A case can be made for most of these, but KORKER, who has had excuses on his last couple of outings, is the most persuasive option tackling a nursery for the first time. Come Quick and Reversion are just a couple of potential threats.
