15/2

Improved on debut form when runner-up in Chester maiden 12 days ago. Proved no match for the winner that day but he has a useful pedigree and he may do better again.

Sea The Stars gelding who showed ability/promise both starts, still green when runner-up here (1m) last month. Sets the standard and remains with potential.

Forecasts

Age Of Sail (6/5), War Horse (2/1), Schmilsson (6/1), Super Stars (15/2), Hapap (20/1), Masterminding (25/1), Dicktate (125/1)

A maiden for prospective stayers and the well-connected AGE OF SAIL should relish this sort of test on debut given his pedigree. War Horse was beaten only by an all-the-way winner here last month and is an obvious threat, while Schmilsson is another likely-looking newcomer.
